USA-China Business Matchmaking Conference 2008 was held on June 4th to 5th 2008 in Shanghai. This event was organized by U.S.-China Exchange Association, U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. National League of Cities, and China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. CEO of BJ PHDS Healthcare Research was invited to attend this meeting and met with mayors and enterprisers from the states. As expected, both sides left the meeting with good impressions and productive discussions. Photos were also taken during the meeting.
This conference has been held annually since 2001. It is on a rotation at difference cities in both China and U.S. every year and has developed a very pragmatic and efficient platform for the economic collaboration and exchange between China SME and US SME, as well as China small and medium cities and US small and medium cities. Both the US and Chinese government attach great importance to the US-China business matchmaking conferences. Till the end of 2007, more than 40 matchmaking conferences have been arranged amongst 8500 China and U.S. companies. Attended government officials and enterprisers have also exceeded 16000. PHDS, as the selected Chinese enterprise, was honored to attend this event for exploring the business potentials to establish broader and stronger collaboration between China and US.
